• A bridge between research and industry

The LRCCP enables the companies of the polymers industry, especially SMEs, to have direct access to R & D works and to scientific events. It regularly collaborates with university research centres, including Paris VI University LRMOP (Polymer Research and Processing Laboratory), established on the premises of the French Rubber and Polymers Centre. This collaboration links basic and applied research.

Companies can benefit from sound technical support from the LRCCP and thereby strengthen their development potential.

• A benchmark laboratory

The quality of its service recognized by its industrial partners and by public authorities ensures the LRCCP a benchmark position. Besides its activities in the standardization and certification of materials and products, it is also the expert body for litigation involving rubber and plastics, regularly consulted by the courts.

• The benchmark laboratory of the rubber and plastics industry

The LRCCP is an independent research laboratory created to meet the technical assistance and research requirements of the rubber and plastics industry in absolute confidence (suppliers of raw materials and equipment, processors, users of rubber and plastic parts).

Since its creation in 1945, it has continuously developed the tools and special knowledge to be in a nationally recognized position today.
