The LRCCP is in a position to carry out mechanical characterization tests on test pieces (behaviour laws) or on parts both statically and dynamically.

 BEHAVIOUR LAWS

To furnish the necessary data for the calculation codes, we formulate the behaviour laws in the following fields:

Highly deformable elastomers Rigid polymers
Hyperelasticity Elasticity
Static viscoelasticity Plasticity
Dynamic viscoelasticity Viscoplasticity

These behaviour laws can be established under conditions representative of the application considered (temperature, speed of loading, load cycles, etc.) for various types of load:

       Uniaxial and equibiaxial tension,
       Uniaxial and hydrostatic compression,
       Pure and simple shearing,
       Flection,
       Creep,
       Relaxation.

 AGEING

The LRCCP has relaxation and creep test benches permitting long-term viscoelastic characterization. The results of these characterizations can be processed to forecast long term behaviour and provide the experimental data necessary for this type of calculation.
